We are officially Lancing’s Unsung Heroes! 🏆

We are honoured to announce that Lancing Freestyle Karate has received the Unsung Hero Award at the Lancing Community Awards.

​This award belongs to every single person who steps into our dojo who train. 

To those who voted for us: thank you for recognizing the heart the instructors put into this club. We don’t do it for the medals, but knowing we’ve made a difference in our community means the world to us.

​To our incredible students: your dedication, sweat, and commitment are what make LFK great. You are the heartbeat of this club, and we couldn't be prouder of the Karate journey you are on with us.

Kyu Grading - 21 March 2026

Huge congratulations to all of our Lancing Freestyle karate students who earned their new coloured kyu belts today! 🥋

These new grades aren't just about a change in belt colour; they are a testament to their ​Dedication, Training, ​Hard Work.

A thank you also to our Black Belts for leading from the front and setting the standard for everyone to follow. The energy in the club is great, keep learning, and wear those new colours with pride.

Dan Grading - 22 November 2025

Congratulations on the New Dan Grades!

​It is with immense pride that we announce the successful promotion of Sensei Lee Holland to 3rd Dan black belt and Mark Hall to 1st Dan black belt.

​Both individuals demonstrated exceptional commitment and skill, setting an outstanding example for every student at Lancing Freestyle Karate.

​A hearty congratulations to you both on this well-deserved achievement.
