
To pass your 7th Kyu grading, you will need to have attended the relevant number of sessions and shown an appropriate level of ability, effort and attitude.
Gradings are a formal test of your ability and learning. You are expected to demonstrate the required techniques to the best of your ability.
You will need to perform the following:
Khion (Combinations):
TBC
Kata:
Shodan and Nidan
Sets:
Set 1 and Set 2
Self Defence:
Against holds and grabs
Against weapons
Pad, Mitt and shield Work:
Timed continuous punches and kicks - 45 Seconds
Punching and kicking techniques
Kumite (Sparring):
2 x 2 minute rounds of continuous free sparring against an opponent
Fitness:
14 x repetitions for each of the following exercises:
- Push ups
- Sit ups
- Jumping Jacks
- Windscreen Wipers
- Squats
- Skip Jumps
- Jump Jump Squats
