| LANCING FREESTYLE KARATE BLACK BELT GRADING SATURDAY MAY 2ND 2009 |
| On Saturday May 2nd 2009 ,three students were selected to grade to 1st Dan Black Belt after training with me for over 5 years since i started the Saturday Club in 2004. After taking part in the normal Saturday session ,they had to prove that they were ready to grade by doing Combinations ,Partner Combinations ,Kata,Sets ,Shield Work ,Focus Pads Self Defence ,Self Defence Weapons ,Fitness Exercise and to finish they had to do 200 Skips .They all did very well and reached the mark required . I am pround as these three ,as they were the first 3 new students when i started the saturday club ,and they have grown up over the years to be very good students ,with a great future in Marial Arts . Thanks to Matt Robinson for warming up the students ,Angela Berrystone for taking Photos ,Georgie Berrystone ,Toby Harwood for support . |
