| On a cold and windy day at buckingham park Lfk performed a demostration with only a few spectators due to the bad weather .But all students did a great demo ,performing combinations ,Kata ,Self Defence and Shield Work .The demo was ended with a team kata by Hannah,Georgina,Lauren ,Beth and Rebecca.It was a shame about the weather ,because on a better day i am sure we could have performed a few more technigues with take downs .It was also our first demo as a club and i was very proud of all the students who partiscipated .A big thank you must go to the parents and gran parents who braved the day to support not only the club but also their child .It was much appreciated by myself One good thing about a windy day was we were asked to do another 3 demostrations and i will decided later in the week which ones to take up depending on what we have on around these days. | Demo at the Sompting Festival Saturday June 2nd 2007 |
| On Saturday June 2nd 2007 15 students took part in the Sompting Festival, and the weather was a lot better than our previous demo a few days earlier .The first Demo was scheduled for 13.00 but we had a few minutes delay whilst the Templars School Dance was performing .At 13.15 we entered the Arena area ,and the students performed exceptionally well considering they had only ever done one demo before this. They had to demostrate Combinations ,Kata ,Impact Work , and Self Defence .After they had all taken part ,Lauren ,Katie and Beth did Shodan as a Team Kata ,followed by Georgie ,Hannah and Rebecca performing Nidan another very good display from both sets of students Then the finale Hannah ,Geogrie and Lauren performing the 3 swing kick split .Somthing you have to see to believe it can be done. On the second demo again they all did the club and themselves proud even thoe most had already taken part in a session earlier in the morning . The closing finale this time had keiran alsO; which again was executed to perfection . | LANCING FREESTYLE KARATE DEMO INFORMATION |
On Saturday 7th July 2007 10 students took part in a Demo organised by Lancing Lions at Beech Green Lancing .
The students had already had a one and a half hour session in the morning ,then they had to get change into thier Gi ready for to meet
at Boundstone School to walk in the persesion .They left Boundstone school around 12.25 and what seem like ages arrived at the green
around 1.10 ,which wasnt too bad .The weather was great for a change ,and whilst we waited to do our demo ,some had Chips and something
to eat .At 1.45 we entered the roped off square .
The students lined up in Grade order and performed the following during the demo which lasted around 15mins .They performed Combinations
,Sets ,Kata and Self Defence before KATIE ,LAUREN and BETH did a team kata of Shodan ,and Georgina and Hannah did Godan and both teams
performed each kata with perfection .The final finale was Georgina ,Hannah and Lauren doing the 3 swing Kick
A big thank you also to Georgina Nan and Mum who handed out leaflets along the walk which proves this is a family club and we all help
each other.
Well done to all those who took part in the demo ,and for all the support from parents .
One thing i forgot was my camera ,so sorry we have not photos of this event

On Sunday 21st June 2009 15 students turned up at Buckingham Park for the annual Adur East Lions Fund day .This event has been cancelled in the past
due to bad weather ,but this year it went very well.Some of the students even took part as jockeys in the donkey derby with two making it to the
final event.(Keiran Taylor and Sam Jessett). They both did well in the final with Keiran gaining a 2nd Place . We performed 3 demos on the day
covering Combinations, Kata ,Sets ,Self Defence, Sparring and Shield Work .So well done to you all .

performed 4 demos on the day and all the students did the club proud .We even entered the tug of war and are now champions after beating the team from the wild
west show.
