This was the 2nd inhouse Kata Tournament which took place on Sunday
March 1st 2009 at lancing youth centre penhill road .
Fourteen students took part ,some were unable to attend due to ill health
and other various reason ,but this did not spoil the day .
All student did their best on the day ,to ensure the marking was not an
easy thing to do .Matt wished he was with the students performing and
not sitting next to me having to judge.Still from the 1st round white to
orange belts we knew it wouild not be easy ,with two going to play offs .
Once again Georgie Berrystone proved she was hard to beat taking both
the indidual round and overall round plus a 2nd place in team kata a good
day for georgie..Some students were at thier first ever tournamentand
they did very well ,especially Rosie Phillips taking the indidual round
,and 3rd place in the overall round not easy for any grade ,let alone one
who only started a few months back (must be the training she is getting).
Well done to all and a thank you to Pat Coady 2nd Dan ,Matt Robinson
