| KATA RULES FOR THIS EVENT BRIEF EXPLANTION OF RULES |
Kata will be decided by the flag system ,ie Red and White Flags; ,Three Judges will be situated around the square with 2
flags ,one red and one white After the student has completed his/her chosen Kata each Judge will raise a flag in turn
starting with the left Judge ,then the right and finally the front judge .Each flag represents one point .If either judge is
undecided then they mustraise both flags; crossed; deeming half a point each .If the result is tied then both students must
perform another Kata ,where this time NO CROSS FLAGS MUST BE SHOWN.

| This event will use either RED &; WHITE BELTS or Red and White ribbon tied to the back of your grade belt . Two referees - One main Ref and one secondary ref (for points which may be missed).Only the Main Ref is permitted to stop the fight (unless in a accident) The Main ref is the only one who can score students points. The table judge will keep score /time keeping .In the event of a draw the students will fight for another 30 seconds . |

| Team Kata will be decided by a flag adding up system ie One point per flag raised .Each team member will perform a Kata and the points will be added to the following student in their team then the final student .This is will carry on until each member of both teams have completed their chosen Kata . If the result is a draw ,then one member of each team will perform again ,where as before NO CROSS FLAGS MUST BE SHOWN . This time the Kata may be chosen for you ?? |

| Team Kumite will also be decided by points system with all points added together at the end to deem a wining team . If this results in a drawn match then one student from each team will fight again for another ONE minute . The Kumite rounds will last ONE MINUTE AND 30 SECONDS |
